I've gotten one in NY. Received 2 pictures, one showing me past the crosswalk when the light changed, the other was a "follow through". Very difficult to fight absent extenuating circumstances. Was there a vehicle "on your tail", so that if you hit the brakes, you were afraid of a collision? Was there an emergency vehicle with siren +/or lights flashing coming up on you? Do you know of anyone who was similarly ticketed? Maybe the amber light was too fast? I tried to fight it. I told the magistrate that my car hesitated for a split second, and I then put the "pedal to the metal", and in another .57 seconds, I would have beat the red light. She said that I should have hit the brakes instead of trying to go through the intersection. A $50 ticket in NY, no points on license. Good luck.
