    would the police visit a crime scene after 3 months

    It's a busy  wooded area were their is loads if dog walkers .. after 3 months  would police investigate the site as a crime scene for jury purposes

    As Doolittle says, DNA can last for a very long time and 


    the technology they have today to analyze collected evidence
