mm, what did you ask for then? why you get upset and yell about it? who you trying to convince? me or yourself?? lmao !!

One way to scare cows is to simultaneously shout as loud as possible towards them, and to wave your hands in the air.

is there a less wierd way
    jenp

Yes, it is weird, but it can also be fun. Besides, it's not my idea, it is information I've found. (:

If there is "stray voltage"" in a barn, and it can happen, they may get zapped when being milked, or when taking a drink from their water bowl.  Or anything that has been changed since they went out to pasture.  They remember all about their barn and stalls, so little things like washing the walls, and floors of the barn, rearranging things, having a tool which did not get put away, parking a tractor in a different place, many things will bring a fear response.  They will sort it out, and get habituated to things in a day or two.  They are very interesting animals to work with, very calm and sedate, peaceful, but can turn dangerous very quickly.  They have a strong flight instinct, remember, their eyes are on the sides of their head, this makes them "prey" animals and their best defense is to run away... By the way, they are excellent runners!

If you're planning on going out and scaring cows, forget it !  B/c that's cruel. And , it messes up their milk production .....for the farmer.

Yes, the big bull from the big bull: honey, I'll take you to the other side where the grass is greener.

Do you know if you go into a field of cows and start to cry and sob, the cows will come up and form a circle around you? Protecting you in your grief!

    melandrupert

clu I didnt know that ....that is sooooo sweet xx

Intelligence has been bred out of domestic cattle so they don’t run away….also, not easily frightened.

Cold hands and being tipped over.
