NO ! because one of the best ways to have a happy marriage is to marry someone with a similar family background to yours, and someone with whom you have a lot in common. This person in question might marry you just to get a green card, or to live permanently in the U.S. But, you won't have much staying power to your marriage. She'll look on you as a dad, and vice versa.

I can't see what you would have in common, if not now certainly later on the , I really doubt that such a huge age difference would work for anyone

This sounds like an arranged marriage. Are your relatives arranging this and is there dowry involved? If it is a traditional arranged marriage and assuming that you are the male partner, all the advantages are on your side except that if you do not love your wife, both you and she will be unhappy and no amount of money will change that.
