Be careful with the use of credit cards....easy or not! You still have to have money to pay the credit card off EVERY MONTH. Credit cards should only be used as a convenience, not as a way to survive each month nor to purchase things that you cannot afford in the first place.

The easiest credit card you can get is a bank card (debit card). They are attatched to your checking account and automatically get paid via your checking account. Many are Visa, some are AmEX. The hitch is you have to have $ in the account to pay it off immediately. Many credit companies will issue cards for low amounts $500-$5,000 at first and as you establish good credit you can ask for an increase in the allowable amount.

If you have bad credit already or if you have no credit history and that is making it hard for you to get a card, you can get a prepaid credit card. Meaning you initially send $500.00 and they let you borrow against the $500. There is also a yearly fee to these cards and they have higher interest rates but they do help you to establish credit and good credit if you pay on time all the time. People who have filed for bankruptcy have used these types of cards to re-establish their credit rating.
