    how can I remove the akaQA tool bar

    I don't want this tool bar, have tried removing it in 'Add/Remove programmes', yet it is still here and I don't want it!

    akaQA is an app on the tool bar. It is not the tool bar. You need to figure out which tool bar it's on. I'm going to guess you may have the bing toolbar. 


    Start menu > Control panel > add/uninstall programs > locate the toolbar, if it is Bing, it hides under the name conduit or conduit engine > uninstall
