Mitt Romney: Chick-fil-A 'Not Part of My Campaign'
GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney says he wants nothing to do with the Chick-fil-A controversy and declined to defend the embattled fast food chain. At a Friday press conference, Romney, when asked about efforts to stop the restaurant from opening in several cities because of its stand in favor of traditional marriage, said, "Those are not things that are part of my campaign."

This surprises me as he has publicly stated many times that he is against same sex marriage. Now I question if he is looking to use the gays for their vote by taking this stand against a corporation that has the same views about gay marriage as he has. Interesting to say the least.
Apparently desperation is on both sides of the fence.
