I have read all your posts and it seems to me, that you have an underlying problem,that you need to adress.by getting counceling and rehabilitation for your drug use. People here have given you good advice. Its up to you to make a change.

Let's see, you're a jail guard who is using drugs while on the job and getting wasted on your days off.  You've suggested a girl who wants attention from her mom become troublesome, and now you are telling us you are hot for men about 1/2 your age. 

Acting like a 20 year old? What does that mean? Do you mean you are drinking shots and playing beer pong, taking whatever drug is offered, sleeping with just about anyone who crooks a finger, dressing in clothes from the junior's section....stuff like that?  

 You have a daughter, if I remember right.....Let me know how much of your behavior you want her to adopt for herself.  

There are a lot of red flags flying around you. 
 

If your mind was clear of drugs, your attitude would be very different.  Do you see any connection at all, between drug abuse and poor decision-making?  You can ask 100's of questions here on this forum, but if you don't take any of the advice, what is the purpose?

I wouldn't say you were abnormal, maybe immature.We can't help who we are attracted to.But honestly what can these young men offer you in the long run, at 38 years of age don't you think you should be more settled and wanting a more stable life for you and your daughter ? If you want to beat your drug addiction, hanging around a younger crowd is not going to help.Maybe it is time now to stop your partying and set a good example for your daughter.

Here is a formula that someone once told me: You can date someone 1/2 your age + 7 years.  So for you it would be a 26 or 27 year old (depending on how close you are to 39).  However, you need to consider what you have i common with these fellows.  Other than drinking and drugging what do you have in common with a 26 year old?  The experiences you have between your mid-late twenties and mid to late thirties can make you "miles" apart.

I can't even imagine what you would have in common with an 18 year old!  They have just graduated High School and have little to no "worldly experience"!!!!!  You should not date anyone that could be your child( age wise)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Get yourself some help as has been suggested here many times by many people, accept the fact that it's O.K to get older, you can't recapture your youth by regressing behaviour,perhaps you have an " addictive" personality, whatever you need help, you are not helping anyone (as you have implied before) especially your daughter, walk in her shoes,what is she seeing? a drug addicted parent chasing men 1/2 her age, take stock of the things you are doing to yourself, and worse  to her. You have a position of responsibility at work you are abusing, and putting in jeopardy, have some thought for your daughter,would you have approved of your a mother had she behaved like you? 

Well! jenny I think you are just messin' with us here! No one can be as  wicky wacky as you want me to think! You either need LOTS of attention or you are a big PLAYER!

Hi jenny I think the first thing you should do is get clean and leave all this love life alone and have a break once you you are clean your head sweetheart will certainly think different and you will start to get a perspective on life (clean perspective) behaving like a 20 year old is alot to do with getting wasted and drug taking as in the normal world or should I say when your clean you will definately think soooo clearer good luck and of course start growing up NOW before its too late

men have been doing that for  yyeeeaaarrrssss....with younger women. So, there's nothing wrong with it. I , too  prefer younger men, b/c they're better looking, more energetic, full of spirit, etc. But, they don't want to go out with older women, b/c it's not an ego trip for them.

It makes perfect sense to me.  Why would you want an old goat like richardjames or me?

Loool no way is it abnormal, i find myself aged 37 more attracted 2 20sumfing men...i couldnt see myself dating an older man ever...if it makes u happy keep at it hun!....
