No. I have a brain- that works most of the time. I can do research and figure out the positives and negatives of the candidates. I don't need ay help. I think if you are afraid you will not win on your own "platform" without bashing the other "guys" then it is time to see where you might connect with the people you will serve.
PS- the media drives me nutso-bonkers too! Just report the news. The Editorial page is for opinions.

No I do not!! They are all spins, exaggerations, and in many cases complete lies, both sides are guilty. Personally, I think the candidates should get in a boxing ring and box for the presidency.. (j/k)
If people would not take these ads and coms so seriously it would give them time and intelligence to do research on their own. But! these campaign leaders know that most people will not so they feed 'em with BS and send them out as disciples of hate, hell bent on changing anyone's mind that disagrees.. Their source?? campaign ads and coms.. It's stupid and people that believe all this are just as stupid. Ads are designed to sway you and you thinking, this is done through deception and anyone that thinks 'false advertising' is taken seriously by the marketeers is nuts too!

No one LIKES them, but most tolerate them if they are directed at the "other" candidate. They ALL use them. Are most people critical when their favoured candidate does the mud-sligging? Of course not. Why ? Because lies are considered truths when its convenient.
Bottom line is, too many people are stupid enough to swallow BS, be it political, social, environmental or commercial BS.

Politics and honesty are two different things and going about money, power and ego. People help them because they want invest time to see if things are true or not. Even the info is not always right and are sometimes edited. Those who has the news in there pocket rules and most of the time win, but the normal hardworking people always lose.

"never downtalk your competition, always complement them and then immediately follow this up with why you feel your product/service is better than your competition."
This does 2 things, it shows you are not afraid of your competition and you gain respect from your customer/client - This makes them more receptive to your claims. These negative ads do just the opposite of what I was trained and what has been proven to work. It also proves that politicians are afraid of each other and will go to all extremes to gain your support. The sad thing is... it must be working.. very sad. Politicians are far worse than any salesperson you will EVER meet. And most of them are lawyers so right up front you know they have no morals.
