There should only be one ignition coil. 

Instructions

Disconnect the negative battery cable from the battery with a wrench. Remove the cable and isolate it from the battery.

Locate the coil on top of the engine. It looks like a big square block with three connectors on the top and a high-tension wire coming off one side and running to the distributor.

Disconnect the three wiring harness connectors from the top of the coil. Release the locking clip on the connector and pull the connector off the coil. Do not pull on the wires, as you will damage them.

Remove the high-tension lead from the coil. Pull the wire straight off the coil, grasping the wire at the boot and pulling it straight up. Do not pull on the wire or damage may occur.

Remove the two mounting bolts that secure the coil to the engine with a socket and ratchet. There is one on each side of the coil. Lift the coil off the engine and discard it.

Install the new coil in place of the old one. Insert the mounting bolts from the original coil into the holes in the new coil. Tighten the bolts with a socket and ratchet, securing the coil to the engine.

Connect the high-tension cable to the coil, pushing it onto the coil tower until it locks on to the tower. Install the three wiring harness connectors onto the top of the coil, making sure the locking clips are secure.

Reconnect the negative battery cable to the battery terminal and tighten the retaining bolt with a wrench. Test run the vehicle to ensure the repair was successful.
