    i,ve got seeds from my garden plants how do I prepare them for planting

    First I would like to say that if they are "hybrids", then you will not get exactly what you took these seed from.  Genetically, they will not breed true, and you could end up with a variety which you are not happy with.  After all, they have bred and developed into the desirable ones after much trial and error.  (if you have the seed packet, or the true name of the variety, you can research to find if it is a hybrid).  Other than that, you should wait until the seeds are formed and dried within the seed case, and collect, store, and plant for the later season.  Many seeds require a dormant period, with darkness and cool temps, so at least save in an envelope labeled for future, in a cool dry place.  Good luck, Bustieone
