Where do all the dead birds go? I see them often alive, but almost never dead (only sometimes killed by traffic)

Reasons for why we don’t often see dead birds:
    - Small birds function as part of the food chain and often get eaten by other animals, such as bigger birds.
    - Like other animals, birds that feel sick look for a secluded place where there try to heel. If they don’t heel they die there.
I hope that wasn't too dramatic.

Bugs and other wildlife usually eat them very quickly leaving virtually no trace.

Sorry about the truthful answers, but they are part of the food chain, as well as compost. Enjoy them as they live and breathe
