hahahaha! My first response was going to be on the edge...aww what the hay...we're all big kids here...I was going to say..well, he's a little pecker now isn't he?? hee hee!! (I know...bad girl!) ;D
I think he wants to be fed & watered. What's more I think he needs a new home. Rush to the pet store and buy a beautiful cage and all the foods he will need. It would be a good idea to ask a vet if a wild bird can truly be happy in a cage. I have wanted a Canary for years. Then again, I think he's fallen in love with his reflection.

If a canary were pecking at my window, I would put a feeder nearby for him, and a birdhouse.
