SO WHERE IS GOD?

DID YOU KNOW IT IS ESTIMATED THAT OVER 809 MILLION PEOPLE HAVE DIED IN RELIGOUS WARS DURING MANS HISTORY?

Conclusively, more people have died in the name of religion than in the name of Communism or Hitler, or the two combined times two.

So, wouldn't it be a good idea for our "God" to show up and put and end to this madness?

Has anyone kept count of how many MORE people have died over religion since I posted this two months ago? Two hundred, three hundred maybe?

And if today's news about a French magazine publishing derogatory cartoons of the prophet Muhammad riles up Europe's Muslim community (and I'm sure it will) even MORE people will be dieing.

Yup, maybe its time our savior makes a little visit and clears up the whole MY GOD or YOUR GOD controversy huh?

I was just thinking. I was raised a Christian but I kinda got away from the whole thing as I grew older and more educated. My outlook on the whole "Pray and it will all get better" theory just never made any sense to me. It works for some, not for others. I respect the beliefs of ALL RELIGIONS. I just find the one that KILLS you if you don't comply a little disheartening.

Can you imagine that? A religion that encourages its followers to KILL others if they don't believe in YOUR god. Makes ya stop and think don't it? Hasn't religion taken a turn for the worse these past 2,000 plus years?

Don't bother TSC. She misses the point every time. She forgets apparently that the christian believers once said to kill the non believers. She suffers from tunnel vision, like a lot of the lost sheeple do.

Why do you blame God for the devil's work as the enemy of religion and all the deaths....the devil, not God did that through man.

God will come when He is ready....not when the devil or man thinks.

God, the Creator, has His own timeline....and He is perfect....the devil is the screw up in all of this, not God !

No faith leads you to to ask empty unfulfilled questions....without faith you are already dead and don't realize it. The devil has blinded you....which is pathetic, shameful and heatbreaking !

What do you live for....if not for God ?
Take a look around and count your blessings and if you think the devil provided those then you are only fooling yourselves !

A better question might be where Isn't God? Even agnostic and atheist are blessed by Him, though they choose to deny or disregard His existence.
"You guys" are quick to point out the bad in the world and blame it on a God you don't believe in, but you never give thanks for anything good, instead taking credit yourselves. "You guys" want everything perfect, but you are making your own decisions, as is nearly every other human upon this earth past, present, and future.
Every one here who calls him/her self "Christian" has told you REPEATEDLY you function of your own free will; blame the reflection in the mirror for what isn't perfect in your life.

(I used Christian in my answer because of the allusion to Him in the question's photo).

Not bored at all. I was just watching the latest Mid-east horse sh*it on TV and thought about this question I posted a few months back and decided to check its responces. So, are the loons burning and killing all over the world NOT defending their "Gods" honor or not? What does God have to do with all this? NOTHING. Thats my point. 809 million and counting. AMEN

Since you chose to post a picture of the christian "Jesus Christ", I think it could be assumed (and rightly so) by many Christians that you think it's okay to slam Christians. You cannot slam or ridicule a GROUP of people, no matter what they believe on ANY subject. There are world-wide disagreements on every topic under the sun. That's why people don't get along. It is not religion in particular. It can be anything that people are willing to argue about and "stir", if you get my meaning...and I hope that you do! I base my opinion on many of your posts...not this one alone.
