    Open the display on your Asus and click the "Shut down" tab in the lower-right corner of the desktop. Click "Yes" when prompted, to confirm.

    Power on your laptop, and press the "F9" key when you see the logo screen. A menu will pop up with a list of three options.

    Select the "Restore Factory Settings" option (which is the last one in the menu).

    Selct "Yes" when prompted, then hit the "Enter" key to confirm the reboot.

    Wait about 30 seconds for the system to restart, then agree to the licensing agreement when prompted.

    Confirm your name, password and time and date when prompted. Then wait as your computer configures.
