    Could be two things.

    1. You strained yourself when defecating and irritated hemorrhoids inside your colon.

    Thats temporary.

    2. You may have other issues and need to see a doctor. The doctor will schedule a colonoscopy and check you out inside.

This should be done when you reach 50 years of age.  I had two and I'm 57 now. There are too many ways to die and colon cancer is not one I care to die from. Its called preventive medicine/care.

If your younger, I would play it safe and go to the doctor anyway.
