You are promoting a myth.
Read below the MYTH about Daddy Longlegs.
Have you heard this one?
Daddy-Longlegs are one of the most poisonous spiders, but their fangs are too short to bite humans
This tale has been lurking around for years. I have heard it repeatedly in the United States and even heard a schoolteacher misinforming her class at a museum in Brisbane, Australia. This is incorrect, but to clarify it, several points need to be explained first. http://spiders.ucr.edu/daddylonglegs.html

And more:
The arachnid commonly called 'grand daddy longlegs'
is in the order Opiliones. They only have one body segment.
(true spiders have two)
These are completely harmless to humans and pets.
They produce no venom, have no fangs, and are not known to bite.
If you were bitten, it will likely be no worse than a mosquito bite.
The cellar spider, (pholcus) is a true spider.
their venom is too weak to be toxic to humans, and their fangs are
too small to inflict pain. any bite would likely go unnoticed.
These are very docile spiders, and very reluctant to bite.

Daddy long legs as I know them (unjointed body)is not poisonous and is in fact not a spider. It is very docile and completely harmless.
This spider, often refered to as a daddy longs legs is not a daddy long legs. It is called a cellar dweller and is in deed a spider as it has a jointed body. The spider is highly venomous but only to it's attackers who see it as prey. It's body excretes a poison that kills the attacker. But it's mouth is too small to bite humans. It is harmless to humans.
This concludes our lesson on daddy long legs :)

Awww, Daddy longlegs are not dangerous. I use to play with them all the time when I was a child. They are actually pretty docile. :)
But they are full of poison. He/She just beat me to the answer. Grand Daddy Long Legs just have a mouth too small to bite with. Pull off all the legs you want and be grateful you've lived through it.....
That's just gross. Do not pull off their legs!!!!

Are you sure spidders have 8 legs? I'm thinking a spidder is a mutated spider. It might have 16 legs and only two fingers.
