Yes E.coli...In your urine is a common cause of UTI`S(urinary tract infections ),and Bladder infections!..No iit`s not contagious can be acquired easily...E.Coli present in the bowel..so can easily be transmitted from back passage to front passage and up the urinary tract..can be acquired from sexual intercourse..due to contact from back passage to front...Always make sure when washing with flannel etc or toileting to clean from front to back ..so that you are not risking contamination from bowel!...Can be acquired from drinking contaminated water/fruits etc!...Drink plenty of clean water to flush infection out..Very important to get infection treated immediately..Please see GP!...(as i say it is a common infection..nil to be ashamed of)!

No, but I've had cryptospiridium in my stomach. It made me sick for three wieeks.

Yes E.coli can cause serious UTI`S(urinary tract infection),AND bladder infections..common ways of acquiring it(IT is A microbe found in the bowel)...ARE sexual intercourse ..hygiene malfunction..eg women should ALWAYS wash or wipe themselves with toilet paper..from front passage to back..hence not bringing the bacteria forward to your vagina...can be acquired from drinking contaminated water/fruits etc..NOT TRANSMITTABLE FROM PERSON TO PERSON...but always take care with hand washing/hygiene...NEEDS TREATMENT URGENT!...See GP who may well prescribe some fierce antibiotics...drink PLENTY of clean water/fluids to help flush infection through..AND ANALGESIA AS PRESCRIBED!!...Please GET IT TREATED IMMEDIATELY...IT IS such a common infection..but not one to be left untreated!!

Generally known as UTI i.e. Urinary Track Infection,is infectious; specimen is cultured to see which antibiotics is more effective & suggested. Alkaline syrup gives instant relief but specimen should be taken before any treatment. More common in females as they share commode seats in public toilets.
