This is part of your journey. You need to pay attention to the life lessons... once these lessons have been learned you move on to new ones... If it didn't hurt and wasn't hard, you would not be learning.
... And by the way, no one's life is easy, even if they proclaim otherwise.
Good Luck to you.

It is hard just BEING.
I think life is hard because you are rallying against your circumstances. Go with the flow, make plans of how to overcome the difficulties that are realistic, and focus on the goals.
People have responsibilities and expectations, either self-induced or placed upon by others. Some of us have the desire to please, or unreasonable standards we think we have to meet, and we always fall short of meeting or pleasing. The "world" goes about with its disasters and wars, and incompetent fools in charge. Economies affect everyone, not just men. I know I think, "If only..." life would be much easier. I'm not master of my fate, but I do have some say in the situation. Look in the mirror.

Well, life may be hard but planning a wedding is easy...
What would it be like if men were put in charge of organizing weddings?
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
There would be a "Rehearsal Dinner Kegger" until the cops showed up.
Bridesmaids would wear matching blue jean cut-offs and halter tops.
They would have NO tan lines and more skin showing than not.
Tuxes would have team logos on the back and the Nike shoes would have matching team colors.
June weddings would be scheduled around basketball play-offs.
Vows would mention cooking and sex specifically, but omit that "forsaking all others" part.
The couple would leave the ceremony in a souped up '73 Charger or some other Mopar with racing tires and flame designs on the side of the car. Better yet, a Harley!
Idiots who tried to dance with the bride (unless they were really old) would get punched in the head.
Big, slobbery dogs would be eligible for the role of "Best Man".
There would be "Tailgate Receptions".
Outdoor weddings would be held during sporting events at half-time or between innings.
Ceremonies would be short and honeymoons would be long.
Ceremonies and honeymoons would be inexpensive compared to the cost of the bachelor party. The cost of strippers and liquor really do add up.
Men wouldn't ask, "Well, what do you think, dear? The burgundy or the wine colored napkins?" They'd just grab extras from their local pub, tavern or donut store.
Favors would be matchbooks and cigars. Better yet, free drink passes at the local lounge.
The bride's dress would show cleavage, her navel, and be form-fitted to her arse.
Instead of a sit-down dinner or a buffet, there would be a hog roast or buckets of chicken, pizza and plenty of b-b-q.
No one would bother with that "Veil Routine". But they would insist that the garter be as high up on her leg as it could go.
The bridal bouquet would be recycled from a previous funeral/wedding (what's the difference) or something.
Invitations would read as follows...
Tom (Dick or Harry) is getting the old ball and chain... He's getting married. He either: A) Knocked her up B) Couldn't get a different roommate or C) Caved in to her ultimatum... Please meet the woman who will cook and clean for him. For the rest of his life at Soldier Field Stadium. On the 50 Yard Line At Half-time during Sunday's Game. Please join us at the Moonlight Lounge after the game For Beer, Nachos and Pizza. Oh yeah... BYOB!

My heart bleeds for you! I hope your helping your wife with the relatively easy task of being female, you know things like working whilst still maintaining a house, meeting everyone else s expectations cooking and cleaning after an often less than efficient husband, and of course doing it all with a smile......you poor thing!!!!

Men usually have to make the lion's share of money to support the family. Many women don't work at all but stay at home and take care of their children. To me, taking care of children seems a lot easier.

Try looking after kids, it sucks, work is so easy compared to chasing snotty nose kids.
Give me a 7 till 3 job any day ..
At the end of my workday I saw the moms drag in to pick up their children only to take them home and start their second job - childcare, cooking, bed time rituals. That was hard work.
A lot of time father's helped out but not always. There were a lot of divorces.
After my job ended I wrote stories about it. : )
Ah..this reminds me of a song..."Nobody knows the trouble I've seen, Nobody knows my sorrow" This was sung as a spiritual during slave days...lets see: First African men and woman were literally pulled away from their families and friends- put on ships that were overcrowded, had no sanitation, and little food. Many were strapped down, others were forced to row the huge wooden ship- for hours at a time without food or water. They land in America where they are sold- many of the the villiagers they knew are sold to different owners. Then they land at the plantation- where they are forced to labor all day in the hot sun without water. They live in shacks, get scraps to turn into a meal, and must follow all orders from the owner- or, they may lose a foot or hand (chopped off) without any medicine- they have to figure out what to do to heal. If they get sick or old they are no longer of value and are killed. Any woman they "marry" and the children they have can be sold at any time.... So, are you starting to understand that...our lives arent easy but we aren't living in hell like the slaves did???
