    why are they geting rid of penny's ( im collecting them....)

    Who is getting rid of pennies? You should not collect them. This costs any government money because they have to make more pennies to replace the ones you are keeping out of circulation. Unless the penny is very rare and old, it's not going to be with what it costs to replace it. Tax dollars are used to make more money. You are costing people money by collecting limited value coins.

    Well, I don't know if they are, but it will most likely eventually increase their value. Might not be for quite awhile though.

    I hope not, I collect them, too. They come in handy in times of emergency. Plus, if they do away with them, it will be in favor of the seller....
