Are there any fans out there of the "new country", which is actually not so new now.
If so, who are your favourites?
I sometimes listen to Toby Keith, Big & Rich, Tim Mcgraw...to name a few.

Sorry Dardaigh... not a fan.
It's difficult to go from the Who and David Bowie... through Pearl Jam, Nirvana and Nine Inch Nails and land on New Country. I have tried and failed.
On a sad note...
Bob Welch, former Fleetwood Mac guitarist and then solo artist died this week of an apparent suicide.

@Lambie, His wife made a statement saying he had issues with his health. Sad for his family.
As far as the genre, I can appreciate that you don't enjoy it...though I love Rage Against The Machine and can still enjoy just about anything, music-wise, except jazz (no offense to Vinny!) :)

Dardaigh! my first though that came to mind about " New Country" What? I wasn't aware any new Country had been extablish! well you know us cave men are not aware of new country music, BTW, Maybe you can tell me who sang that song, a farorite of mind, "I love you just the way you are, I wouldn't change you even if I could".?
