We have been around for a couple of million years, dinosaurs for 240 million years. Is there any evidence of them having an inteligence similar too/better than, our own?

They died out because they could not rationalize. What do you think?

They died out because an asteroid hit the earth and the debris thrown into the atmosphere blocked out sunlight for years. Who said they could not rationalize? and what do you mean by rationalize? Do you think we are here for ever???

I agree with this probable explanation, but I think that we (humans) and the same order as it does not yet know respecting the earth. So we are not able to rationalize even we

I think you're being a bit too confrontational. I think you need to relax. Not all were killed by the asteroid. Rationalize; they could not figure their way out of a problem. They existed on instinct. When their instincts told them to head to a different part of the land during a season, they just did it. If the land had changed at all, say a river now ran through it, they walked right into the river and drowned because they did not know how to think around the problem, they just knew they had to keep heading in the direction their instincts told them to. Now you've made me discuss this a lot more than I wanted to. Go read up on the dinos and not Fred Flintstone and crew.
This earth is a planet. No planet lasts forever so no, we will not always be here.

alisha, perhaps you can not rationalize but most of all human beings can. Dear gawd, what are they teaching you kids in school today?

Why was he in the tar pit? Did he not know how to go around the tar pit? Did he not rationalize that though the tar pit appeared wet, it was not water or solid?

Colleen is correct.  The dinosaurs did not all die off.  Sturgeon fish and paddle fish are examples of prehistoric creatures that survived.  There are more.

the main point about dinosaurs going extinct is that they could not adapt to the changing conditions fast enough (the earth coming out of ice age).the last straw for them was a comet strike which sent  the planet into a global winter and killing of the fauna about 65 million years ago .the question of intelligence is by the way.

I THINK THAT THEY WERE BETTER THAN U.S. IN FUND WERE STILL ANIMALS, WE ARE INSTEAD HUMANITY

    Better than U.S. (United States)?
You can't spell which makes it hard to understand your point.

How are they better if they are dead and human beings are still here?
