Only 2 kittens in a litter?

IF you know me on this site... you knew my cat was pregers. She had 2 kittens last night. I really thought there would be at least three. Is it normal to have only 2?

This was her first pregnancy, right? If so, very normal for a first. The next litter might yield 8 however. Have you scheduled her spaying for after she weens yet? LOL
not very unusual at all as long as their wealthy!

Nooooo!!!!! The treatment will absorb into her skin and then get into her system and the kittens will be nursing on toxic milk. Even trace amounts can make them sick. If the fleas are really bad to where they will dangerously infest the kittens, get a vet's opinion. If you're doing flea preventative, just watch for the buggers and kill them when you see them at least until the kittens ween.

Little Kittens are so cute and i am glad that the Mamma and her offspring are healthy. I believe in neutering and spaying of cats and dogs. I am happy to hear Mamma is beeing fixed and the kittens at 6 month too? No offense, I am an animal lover and have two dogs and a cat and they are fixed.

Non taken... We had taken her to get fixed when we got her.. But she was too young... I volunteer at the Humane Soc.... We had a free clinic for spayed and nuetering... They ran out of time before they got the employee pets... So I made an appointment at the vets office... And she was already pregnant... I didnt have the heart to terminate the preg. Thank goddness she only had 2.
oooooh lucky you. i know you're not touching them. once i had this wirey bouncy kitten - a tiny thing. i had to leave for a few days and i left the kitten with a very elderly woman. i was afraid the kitten would attack her hair. the kitten did get on the back of my hair and go into a frenzy. after she was through i looked liked i'd been through a terrible sandstorm. hair a total mess. let us know as the weeks go by == maybe this is a first on the board. THUMB UP, of course.
Looks like some you can use and some you may not be able to use, hope this helps, nice answer to yourfriend, by the way...
