This is akaQA, a general questions and answer site. We do not control your computer. I do not know what screen you are calling "this stupid screen". Booting up should not have put you right into your e-mail. Booting up would taken you to your opening page also known as your shortcuts page where you would click on whatever you use to access the internet be that IE, Firefox, Google or some other browser. You probably made your e-mail your homepage on the internet. I suspect you downloaded something recently and with the download came another program that took over your homepage. To get your homepage back, do this:
Open a tab with the homepage you want to use. Have only that tab open, then go to Tools > Options > General Tab > under Home page see "Use current page(s)" Click it and then click OK.
