Really?  What activities would they be involved in together?  When?  Where?  Oh and most importantly, WHY?  She should be concentrating on school work, school activities, home responsibilites, etc.

A 10 year old is in the 4th grade.  She doesn't even know how to do long division until halfway through the year.  She can't do double-digit multiplication.  She doesn't know how to write a letter and she is just learning how to REALLY read a book.  Her little body isn't wearing a bra yet, most likely, and she doesn't shave her arms or legs, maybe hasn't yet started menses.  She isn't wearing makeup, and she should be playing on the swings at recess or practicing her free throws or corner kicks.  Is she getting all her Girl Scout cookies sold?  
COME ON! She should have tons of boy friends and tons of girl friends.  She should NOT have A boyfriend.   And I'm not even going to ask how old the boy is.  
You really shouldn't be asking; like others have said: YOU are the parent.  Have a heart-to- heart with her and explain your concerns.

A girl of 10 yrs old, should be doing her studys not having her mind on a boy friend, Her mom should say No to  a  boy friend until her daughter is older., dont encourage trouble.

It sounds as though she is trying to grow up a little too fast. What's wrong with just being friends? Where is she getting that idea from? I'd tell her no, but they can still be friends...keep it simple!

NO I VETO! im 15 an i am in my first serious relay and i had a boy friend when i was 10...im sorry i did tell her to wait untill she is older :)

Are you sure you meant boyfriend as in a relationship ?Or do you mean can your 10 year old daughter have a boy  friend ?The latter is more appropriate for a 10 year old.There is no need whatsoever for a little girl to have a boyfriend, "friend" yes, but nothing more than that.

When I was ten, I was climbing trees and playing baseball in the backyard. Oh, how times have changed. I was not allowed to date until I was sixteen. Let your child be a child, it lasts only a short while.

I guess it all depends on the particular 10 year old.Boyfriend/girlfriend relationships at that age can be quite harmless.I can remember when I was 10 I used to go to the movies with a cute little girl.We would hold hands & the "S" word was the last thing on my mind as I am sure it was with her.We had fun hanging around with the other kids.So I guess my answer is yes.With supervision.

WoW!!! I had boy friends and girl friends at 10...mud fights, tree climbing, guarding the tree fort against the opposite sex, matchbox car races....but golly, no hugg vvvvu98888800000000000 (cat's opinion)  but golly, no hugging, hand holding, and (barf) kissing...but I grew up in a gentle era where you weren't forced or encouraged to explore the opposite sex that young (of course, when the hormones came into play it was a different ball of wax for a lot of teens)
