Does it have the 5.L corroborated V8?

If it does, it is on the side of the block, follow the fuel line to find its location

it is a carborated 5.0, but the auto parts sold me an electric. There is no mechanical pump on the block. the tank is mounted vertically, and appears to be a real P.I.A. to get out. Any ideas?

The 1983 Mark VI has the 3.2L CPEFI engine, with the electric fuel pump in the fuel tank.

Perhaps the 1982 does as well, but if memory serves the 5.0L had the mechanical fuel pump.

In any event if you follow the Fuel line, that will give you the location.

    Hope that helps
