why do children love mc donalds

strange! But i believe it is to do with chips that are crispy and the burgers. But contains lots and lots of fat which is why most parents try to avoid going to Mc Donalds too much. :0

Cos it`s highly addictive junk food!..Full of fats, sugar Et al....And cos  it`s the in thing..and there`s one on practically every corner!!...cheap and easy for the exhausted parent...but should be a treat/indulgence...rather than a regular fix imho!....Call me a spoil sport but I want my kids to live long and happy lives...not with their arteries clogged with fat leading to all sorts of health problems..eg heart disease...it DOESN`T TAKE A LOT OF TIME/MONEY TO MAKE YOUR KIDS REGULAR HEALTHY MEALS!(and to educate them re good healthy foods)!....They`ll thank you for it when they`re older and not obese)!!...I`M NO saint ..i love junk food too!...don`t most of us???....I just try and keep a healthy balance!!

Lots of colorful advertising...lots of ingredients that appeal to the taste buds....fat, sugar and salt...lots of cute little toys!!!

And for the moms and dads......service that's a lot quicker and easier than home cooking!!!

Advertising that targets the catch groups (old, young and in-between) and lo-cost yet insufficiently nutritious edible products  combine to make one of the largest money making fast junk food outlets in the world where for under 2 bucks you can momentarily satiate your hunger with a gutbomb! Media gluttony...and to think it all began with that spooky stupid clown.....

I think all the hype, colorful packaging, playgrounds and clever advertising. There was a "Pete the pirates" fish and chip shop close to a maca's when my children were young, they had a similar approach and , they appeared to equally as popular with the littlies, though not so much the teenagers

    Proper advertizing............

Uh, some would say “improper” advertising. I am not a MacDonald hater.
Everything in moderation. My grandkids go there about once a month. They remain strong and healthy despite what they have swallowed.

Marketing, sugar, msg, soft foods that are easy for children to chew, consistency, ease of purchasing and that darn ball room.

Uh, what’s wrong with the ball room fishlet? For me it’s a chance to put on heels and my silver sequined dress and go down the slides to the sound of piped in music. : )

    :D Very cute!

The toys. Those darn toys. The kids love the toys at a certain age. (under 5)

However, there is much good about McDonalds. They have clean restrooms for buying or non buying travelers. There is  food for those who don't have enough money to dine elsewhere. You can get a plain hamburger, a salad, a fruit cup, and a glass of milk for a good price. They also have a good, safe jungle gym for children who are traveling or for parents who need to exercise their children in a good warm or cool place.

My grandchildren love the clown. They like to pose with the clown!  (Oh No!)

Sometimes the only thing that can make me happy is a real Macburger, fries, and a chocolate milkshake. Not often. Ok???

I call burgers gutbombs! Nothing like a cheap gutbomb and fries!! Now I'm hungry! LOL!

They have Wifi like the fancy places. You can take your lap top.

Because he is not a nasty clown

    millie111

:-¬...He`s the first clown I`VE SEEN WHO IS A HAPPY CLOWN...Clowns to me always look like sad people....He`s probably happy cos he`s ONE mega rich clown!!;-0

    because it is tasty

Big kids love it as well only in moderation.

Why not? Ever since they introduced drinkable coffee, I occasionally stop in for a new Bistro-chicken sandwich or whatever it is they Mc-Call it.

As for kids, nothing wrong at all with an occasional treat. I much prefer it when loud, screaming toddlers and their parents patronize McDee and stay away from the restaurants that I usually go to.

If you don't take your small children there, I doubt if they will miss something they never had.

Saturated marketing, especially on kids television.

Children are being brain washed by the ads especially when smiling parents are shown taking their  happy, well dressed children there, along with other families with their happy smiling children  there also. Look at what the ads are saying to children. Many of the most onerious ads are during children  TV shows. Kids need to be protected from appealing advertisers intent on selling 750 calories to children in one meal by misleading naive innocence.

the fatty yummy goodnes of it all! haha
