I reported in good faith to the company that a senior manager had fail to observe the Company’s Rules and Procedures by breach of confidentiality.

I explained I was left with a moral duty and a personal concern which needed to be brought to the companies attention in good faith that one of your most senior employees had left for general viewing on the hotel reception computer a letter of a sensitive and confidential nature.  I was requested to put it in writing, at the meeting i was asked to explain how I had found the letter, were it was held and on what system? I said it was on the reception computer, he said not the computer in the office on jays desk? I said no. He reconfirmed that it was not the office but the reception computer. I was then asked how had I accessed her file, had I been given her password? I said No, I explained that her file was not password protected.

This is akaQA. We are not connected to the company you work for. You need to contact who ever told you to out it in writing and ask them for the e-mail address to send the letter to.
