My stepmom is 71 yrs old and has just met a new "love"...and she's lovin' it!!   So YES you can fall in love...again! Thankfully!

By all means it's possible the best way to get over a love is finding a new one..

People do it all of the time, I'm doubting it but, I'd like to once more............

Love is rare.  I believe one can love someone, be in love WITH someone, and that love can fade and die, at least on the part of one of them.  I believe one can love again, fall in love again. I also believe that each love will be unique. I wouldn't advise comparing old and new loves...it serves no useful purpose, as far as I can tell.

I'm not sure if I could. Married to the same person for 42 (I think) years. Perhaps, but not with the same intensity.

But then after a few years passed the lonleness was getting thye worst of me, that's when my children told me to go on line to a site called "Tagged" and after about six month's and many on line chats I decided to take a chance on one woman that seemed to have all the qualities I was looking for. From the first time wer met there was a certain magic that I cannot explain, it was like it was meant to be and coinsidentally she had the exact same thing happen to her at about the same timeline.  To this day we feel that our dearly departed brought us together.  We have been together for over two years now, but it feels as if we have known each other our entire lives.

Funny thing is that we grew up together and lived only a couple miles apart, but then again she was only 14 years old when I was 21, so it wouldn't have happened anyway, but I'm glad that it finally did.  So NEVER give up there is always someone out there for you, you just need to look, but don't jump at the first one that shows interest.  Take it slow and be open and honest. I believe you can, I doubt there is only one person on this earth for any of  us, finding that someone to love and to have it reciprocated is probably rare and should be cherished, but sometimes things and circumstance change, the one we loved is no longer the one we still are in love with, if you can find that special person, the one you can't or don't wish to live without a second time, is another chance at happiness in sharing, caring, laughing and enjoying life again

YES... it is even possible to love more than one person at the same time... But I wouldn't suggest that.
