    Why is it almost impossible to fire a govenment worker who is deficient in his performance?

    If they were payed for proformance the nation would be rich. they all share  each others work so you can not put the blame on any single one

    Oh, then why aren't they all fired? There are plenty of workers that want those jobs.

    This is a very good question.   Your comments here have to do with just work performance.  Corruption is really a big problem in many countries in the far east, in addition to the performance issue.  More often than not, the entire department shares all the "under-the-table" incomes from tax payers.  This makes it impossible to get quality work done for many governmental agencies all over the world.

    Other countries are not my concern. We already know many are corrupt. It is a culture. Is it now our culture?
