This depends on a lot of factors. The major one being a father wanting full custody- which, actually doesn't occur too often....and then all of the other factors weigh in. More and more Dad's are fighting for full custody or full custody with visitation and winning. There are so many variables and different State's weigh things differently (for example, in my State, infidelity isn't too big of a deal- and really isn't a factor in custody battles unless the infidelity was continuous, with multiple partners, or took the parent 'away' from the children for a significant period of time. (please note I live in a very liberal State)
