    Why do birds abandon their eggs and their young?

    How do you know it's abandoned? Do not just assume it is. The mother could be right there watching you disturb her nest. 

    Sometimes because of food suply or beening disturbed

    Usually this happens after a stressor has occurred.  and this caused the hen to try and save herself, (instinctively) so she could live to breed again, with no thought of the nest or contents. Such could have been a predator, real or perceived, a loud noise, a bad storm, etc. could cause such an action by your hen..
