My mom tended to choose a different kid each month.  Sometimes it was my turn..........

No it's not right! I was the oldest kid so I dealt with a lot of junk!  Just hang in there ,do your best to be a good kid and some day you will be on your own. Also you will know how your own children should be treated! Sometimes it seems you are the unfavored child but I'm sure you are loved!

No, but sometimes one child will cause more headaches than another, so may not find themselves the flavor of the week. but all should be loved and supported whatever

No, I dont think it is right.but some times it happens.for what ever reason, but the parent, or parents should not let it show in front of the other children.

parents are not perfect its hard to be fare all the time,as a parent myself I know, my son's girl friend 18 years old has a great problems with her parents, now she lives alone but treats  my wife and myself like mam & dad, the fact that we have daughters and sons doe's not stop us give her some of our time and attension.

I dont believe its favoring one child over another. I believe that some children get into more trouble and therefore get more bad attention than the other who does no cause as many problems.

It happened in my family my father put my brother through college he put me through a wall..

No, parents shouldn't favor one child above another.Iv'e seen this where one child is brighter but it's not the way to be. I have two sons the oldest was and still is more confident than the younger, thats not a good or bad thing but I always told my youngest to just do your best at your own pace, everyone is good at something.
