We make the notes, no one else. We judge our own merits and debts. Not sure what the several bottom lines are though. It's all pretty clear cut. We see where we've grown and then decide what we next want to work on. We arrange our own next lifetime.

One can never go back to the past. The future in never ever set so one can not travel to it. We can only be reborn into the now. As for a choice of where Soul can be reborn to, that depends solely on that Souls spiritual growth. But yes, there is a choice if possible. You're going to love leaving this physical world I think. You will finally be faced with things that interest you.

It seems to me the answers to this question are often based on a person's faith and beliefs. Heaven, hell, reincarnation, nowhere are answers that come to mind initially. Those answers open up a new set of questions. How do you get (where)? being one of them.
Do you have a faith or religion you follow, practice, believe, are interested in?
Most of us have never been dead long enough to give you a factual answer.

Been dead several times. It’s a safe experience. Of course, if your body gets wiped out you’ll not be returning to your previous form. Our experience in life is based in a state of ignorance and innocence so that our experience can be truly our own rather than a shared experience wherein many people remember an event in exactly the same way…we all saw the movie and remember it. Our personal experience that is uniquely our own shows us and others that we are uniquely personal rather than exactly like everyone else who looks and talks like us. Uniquely personal experience is a personal treasury of unimaginable grace and beauty that endears us to others who likewise treasure such experiences also. Give yourself happy, loving experiences ….they are the ones last the longest and enrich our lives the most. Learn new skills and fill your life with variety. Grunge work is beneath your dignity such as cleaning restaurant grills all day every day for years….its not worth living for or dying for. Think about it. Dull repetitive tasks has little to offer.
