        Downs Syndrome is a conition in which extra genetic material causes delays in a way a child devlops mentally and physically, caused by extra chromosome (a copy of chromosome 21) in a DNA, included, when sperm and egg form the embryo.

            Thank you- I have been searching high and low to figure out what is wrong now I know "because (I) have it".  The fact that you can spell syndrome....hmm
