I believe it's true
In my preschool I had 8 little girls under the age of 5 for 9-10 hours a day. Everything was calm and peaceful. The ones that were a little older read to the younger ones, helped them with art projects, cut their meat, helped them wash their hands, and taught them the ballet steps for the performance. On and on ... (But they were a little sneaky ... very sneaky, somehow.)
One year it was 9 little boys. Same age. Same hours. It was bedlam. They were mean to each other. They were rough. They didn't like art. They ripped their meat with their bare hands. They ran when I told them to wash their hands. They scared me with yard spiders. (But they were sweet ... very sweet, somehow)
I guess the little boys were practicing to be men. At some point they would protect their wife, children and cave. They would need to know the best ways to understand strategies of war. Yes, yes ... I know girls need to know this stuff. I'm just sayin'
