Kashvir had 120 marbles in the morning. During the first break, he challenged Ashleigh and lost 1/8 of his marbles. He thought that he could win it back from her the next break but lost another 1/3 of the total. To prove that it wasn't just luck, she won the rest of his marbles off him after school. What fraction of his marbles did Kashvir lose during both breaks? What fraction did Ashleigh win off Kashvir after school?

1/8X120=15 1st break loss      11/3X120=40   2nd break loss 15+40=55  the fraction of the two break loss is 55/120=11/24

The fraction of the loss after school is 1-11/24=13/24 or (120-55)/120=13/24
