Men are taught as children to be stout little soldiers, going to war on dirt and filth. Organizing, organizing every little thing in in Bristol fashion, square and true. Not one scrap out of place and everything has it’s proper place to make it all neat, clean and orderly. Stand at attention, feet together, stand up straight, arms by your side, eyes front. Get that hair out of your face. Left foot forward, march, left, your left, left right left.
From our earliest memories we are taught these and other ways to think, eat and talk in pointed instruction and to follow orders and not think on our own. Our duty is to do as we are told, eat broccoli and other horrible things that are good for us.
As children our programming sticks and we all prepare to go to war when our country calls us in and there to rid the world of error, filth, and untidiness by shooting the enemy of right order for the good of man and the salvation of the world. We are solders going to glory and lead by honor and respect for Crown and country till death do we part.
Our instruction set is horrible and too many are taught this way rather than ways of life, thinking to get through problems with answers is preparatory only if freedom of choice is inclusively part with reason. The way of doctrine from youth up prepares a person to die but not to live.
