They both have different chemicals, one is stronger than the other. For  more information ask a pharmacist.

Umbriel, good to know paracetamol's effects on the liver.  This drug is sold over the counter everywhere in Thailand.  They call it "Pala" for short.  I will think twice the next time I want to take it.

Apparently, if you take a half-dose of each. it is more effective than a full dose of either.

Personally, I find 250mg aspirin works well, but avoid if you have stomach problems.

please dont ever take more than 8 paracetamol 500 mgs in 24/hrs..or you risk severe liver damage..irreparable!!:-(...Only take doses when needed(Aspirin can do the same but also give you stomach ulcers and severe bleeds!!....Ibruprofen ..again don`t excede the dose 200-400mgs/4 doses in a day unless Dr advises less...NOT FOR ASTHMATICS!!!..and can cause GI...STOMACH BLEEDS AND ULCERS!!!(YES IT IS AN ANTI-INFLAMMATORY drug!..IF in any doubts re any meds...please contact your gp immediately!!!
