    why does toilet bubble when washer is in use

    There's air in the water lines. Turn off the water at the main shut off. Open all faucets in the house and let the water drain. Leave the faucets open to allow air bubbles to drain. I'd leaver them open for about 20 minutes. Then turn the water back on and let run for a few minutes, then close all faucets.
