council land against my wall is draining through and destroying my wall, who should put proper drainage behind the wall?

wall was rebuilt - not sure by whom - after 2nd war bombing in 1940s. Council do not know who wall belongs to and will not dig out and drain their side properly, although they re-landscaped and bought the site of the bombing at the time.

Sounds like the councils responsibility to me, check your house deeds, you might get info from CAB, or a property lawyer.

Most certainly a council issue, the water leak is on their land and, acc. to land deeds are responsible for stemage of such!!
