http://www.mapquest.com/ Click get directions then fill in start/end locations and click get directions again. You will be given route options. Select the one you feel will work best for you.

Really? Appears you do not travel far. What would you advise one as the best route from Key West to St Martin, or the best route to New Zealand from NYC?

They did not ask that. Had they asked that, I would have told them by boat or plane. I will not argue with you about this. You are not helpful in your answers or your best suggestions. Again, there are many complaining about you. I am now moderating you because of that.
What makes you believe I am arguing with you? I am just trying to explain what I did.

ROUTE. I'm getting a lot of complaints about the way you answer questions. If you do not want to put any effort into your answers, do not answer.
Colleen come on, the way that question was asked one can not know what form of transportation they referencing.
It asked for the "best route" not driving direction, specifically.
I travel often and I discovered a long time ago that the BEST, QUICKEST way to get around in any strange city is by Taxi, really.
Many questions are so poorly stated, it is possible to know exactly what they are asking, so I answered the question as asked and said it was a guess, in case they were looking something else.
I answer many a question, for which I am the only one who will or can provide the proper answer, give me a brake.

Jack, the question is clear. Best route to a place from a place. Route has always meant driving. If you have difficulty understanding what they mean, bypass the question and find one you can understand.
