I find that if I like a person when I first meet him/her, that will usually continue forever. Sometimes, I may not care for someone at first, but then, I get to know them better, and my opinion changes. I have heard that it's only a matter of seconds for your first impression to be made on someone....doesn't give us much time to "impress", does it? lol

Yes I suppose in a fairly short time we do get a 'feel' for people and can tell if they are giving off good or bad vibes. Time? Hmmm, not sure Ed. I think every situation might be different. Sometimes it might take a little longer to read a person but maybe it's innate in us to be cautious.

I think I tend to ignore the red flags far too often. As a result of doing this too many times in the past couple of years, I find I keep everyone at arm's length. There are some people who rub me the wrong way from the get-go whom others find completely charming. It doesn't make me change my mind.
