If you could have a conversation with anyone, living or dead, who would it be?

    And why?

Note:  I am looking for a great modern or historical figure.  Please do NOT include family members, unless you are a direct descendant of Einstein.  Thank you! :)

Umb. Drinking urine for theraputical purposes dates back to the Holy Roman Empire.
The standard authority on drugs in Europe until the end of 18th centure was "Lamery,s Dictionaire Universelle des Drogs.. The book nrecommends the drinking of two glasses of urine each morning to cure gout, relieve obstruction of bowels and dispel hysterical Vapors. Jim Morrison and John Lennon were fans of urine theraphy.

Joan of Arc.. Would love to have seen the visions she allegedly had seen..

Johny Carson was the best-dressed, wholesome, funny, and witty American talk-show host.  The tonight show was responsible for many couples' romances during those hours of the evening.

It is. "Old long ago" meaning about love and friendship in times past.

the living one  because dead people don't talk......hahahaha..........no but seriously I think I would Choose Dante Alighieri. He led a very interesting life and is among the best who ever wrote. his poetry is stunning

"Such sweet decorum and such gentle grace attend my lady's greeting as she moves that lips can only tremble into silence, and eyes dare not attempt to gaze at her. Moving benignly, clothed in humility, untouched by all the praise along her way, she seems to be a creature come from Heaven to earth, to manifest a miracle. Miraculously gracious to behold, her sweetness reaches, through the eyes, the heart (who has not felt this cannot understand), and from her lips it seems there moves a gracious spirit so deeply loving that it glides into the souls of men, whispering: "Sigh!" "

Goodness me! You have found me out.... Einstein.   :)

Honestly ... Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi and the Dalai Lama and maybe Eddie Vedder, but only just for a quick look before I faint!

Krishnamurti was an incredibly insightful man who fought against a cult-like following and offered up some of the most logical and peaceful observations of life and living it.A scholar and author but I don't think he was a crossdresser!:D
    itsmee

I'd pick a Beatle, a Stone, or Kurt Cobain ...

There's a new genius on our earth. Read about her on Yahoo. One point lower than Hawking and also Einstein. She's eight and has been invited to Mensa. I'd really like to talk to that child. I believe she's eight. She made a spaceship out of Leggo's and the ship went half way to the moon. (Read it on Yahoo)

    itsmee

Why? I'm really curious to learn if extremely bright and creative people and kids are kinder than those who aren't smart.

I'd ask each one about IQ's and EQ's (Maybe not Ringo ... Maybe I'd just laugh a lot with him ... actually, with all of them. I think we'd forget to talk business.
    itsmee

or maybe Krishnamurti ... I will look him up tomorrow, lindilou

Was Rex Harrison a "distant" relative?
    doolittle

No, I was too young to play the part and they wanted a man (which is too bad because My aunt Sasha was strikingly beautiful) They thought Garndpa was too old. Which left my cousins Elmer.& Rikky..Now Elmer really could have played the part well, Rikky was shy- they both were kinda ugly ....So, they hired Rex- He did OK because Sasha and Grandpa coached him!!!
    ROMOS

LOL. Were you a fishlet in a previous life?

Mulla Nasreddin (Arabic), Nasreddin Hoca (Turkish),Nastratin Hodja (Romanian).

He was a Seljuq satirical Sufi figure, sometimes believed to have lived during the Middle Ages (13th century).

Because he was a populist philosopher and wise man that knew funny stories and anecdotes sometimes witty, sometimes wise, but often, too, he was a fool or the butt of a joke.
