Are you married to a Filipino? If so don't worry about it. Just keep him/her at your side when you go through immigration as you leave. If not they will charge you a hefty fee when you leave, so it would serve you well to get it extended.

I know it's easy to get the visa extension. I'm a US citizen. I'm looking for a location in Davoa to buy it.
You didn't answer my question as to whether you were married to a Filipino so I assume you are not. You may have to get it extended in either Cebu or Manila, as I don't know of any place in Davao City.
