Yes,that should be fine as long as you are extra careful monitoring the hot H20 tap temperature and that it`s not putting a strain on the child`s neck...(This is usually more of a problem with the elderly as it can be dangerous re leaning heads backwards or forwards as their bones often tend to be more brittle)...It`s rare that it should cause a problem,but a few serious neck injuries have been noted by hairwashing this way,therefore neck should be well supported. :-¬
