Sure.

Running the risk every time one of these questions comes up... I do not want a neon light attached to my belief system.  I am choosing not to answer.

That does not mean that I don't consider this a good question.  It just means that I don't care for being accused of promoting Satan and definitely not today.

I don't promote Satan, by the way.  I don't believe Satan exists.

Given the myriad accounts from those with near-death experience...perhaps YES!

You can ask God what it’s like to die, not that you want to die, but just know what to expect and be able to tell others about your experience. God won’t deprive you an experience you ask for just because you’ll see it all again when your body dies anyway. So you may as well ask and then wait for an answer….it’ll be along in a few days and you’ll have quite a ride. I liked it  just fine when I asked.

Every living thing dies but humans, uniquely, are the only ones who know this. We have created four narratives to cope with this:

A.  stay alive by working against biological ageing and disease. We also perpetuate the germ line through reproduction.

B - resurrection. This is the basis for religion (and also cryogenics)

C. The soul. If A and B don't work there is some inner spirit that will persist. All major religions perpetuate this view.

D. Legacy. If A, B, and C fail we can  live on by things we leave behind such as literature, music, art. This is the font of ingenuity.
