For the whirlpool/kitchen Aid ice machines. turn off unit, Remove front air grill screws(4) and grill to expose valve. Remove two screws holding valve to unit wall. Unplug two electric lines by depressing tab and pulling out. Remove two water lines by pushing yellow rings towards body of valve while pulling on hose, 1 clear/ 1 grey. Remember that grey line is pressure line and needs to be turned off at source usually under sink cabinet. Grey line goes into longer straight valve port while fill line goes into shorter 90 degree port if you forget to draw picture, mark, or take photo of how lines are attached. Install in reverse order.

Instructions
1
Unplug the refrigerator or turn off the refrigerator breaker in your service panel.
2
Install two screws into the icemaker screw holes on the rear of the left wall of the freezer, if they are not already installed. Install the screws about half way.
3
Plug the wire harness adapter into the power receptacle on the left side of the ice maker. Push the connector into the receptacle until the clip on the connector locks into place. Connect the other end of the wire harness adapter to the refrigerator's wire harness. The refrigerator's wire harness is located in the gap on the left side of the rear wall of the freezer. The wire harness has enough slack that it can be pulled from the wall to connect to the ice maker wire harness adapter.
4
Align the mounting brackets on the side of the ice maker with the two screws installed on the wall and insert the screws into the eyelets. Fully tighten the two screws to secure the ice maker in place.
5
Insert the screw into the bottom side of the ice maker, if the refrigerator has a screw hole and the ice maker has a bracket.
6
Restore power to the refrigerator.
