Dont sit around the house and worry about things. Take long walks every day, that will clear your head. Depression often sets in over the winter with lack of sunlight. Sit in the sun 45 minutes every day to get your Vitamin D. and dont wear sunscreen, it prohibits the Vitamin D beeing absorbed into your skin.Lack of Vitamin D has been associated with depression.

Possibly because you worry about things you have no control over. If this is the case try to separate the things you can change from those you can't change, then take steps to change what you can. Worry is a positive thought process when the problem can be overcome but when it is beyond your control the worry becomes like a cancer of the brain. Also try not to be too overdramatise events in your life, try to see things realistically and see that you are just another person in the world doing what you can to get by. You may have depression and need medicating as well but that does not mean you are powerless, you can have depression and live a good life. I hope this helps in some way....good luck from a guy with bipolar disorder :)

We all have "Down" days. When the depression doesn't subside in a reasonable time, and that only you will be able to determine, it may be time to see a shrink. If your lucky enough to have someone you can confide in, talk to them about what your feeling. Sometimes a good rant will snap you out of it.
