    Thanks, Doo! :)

My great grandad likes Brief Encounters,,

A star is born.  Arrival I and Arrival II. Anything with Clark Gable, Anything UFO, Anything Brad Pitt. Anything Julia Roberts. The Wizard of Oz. Love Story. Anything Elizabeth Taylor.  Old movies.  Any thing Van Johnson. Anythiing Denzel Washington.  Superman. Black Widow with Theresa Russel and Debra Winger.  (Black Widow was facinating because Theresa who was the black widow & was so versatile as a woman.)  If you like movies like this you would enjoy renting or downloading it.

    The Thornbirds. Richard Chamberlin.

    Dardaigh

    Oh yes, Ed. Excellent!
And Barbara Stanwyck. She owned Drogheda.

Very difficult question to answer that one.  One of my favourites is 'Contact' with Jodie Foster in it cos of the superior special effects.

    hector5559

I have not seen the film mentioned, but Jodie Foster,i think is great,
